Training to help ensure compliance with SparkSafe LtP Contract Conditions

We believe that it’s important for SparkSafe registered electrical contractors to have access to useful resources, advice and guidance regarding the SparkSafe Licence to Practise (LtP) initiative.  With this in mind, we are pleased to announce details of a short, 1 hr online training session for electrical contractors.

The online training will be interactive, with useful demo walkthroughs. The session is intended to help electrical contractors become familiar with the online system, exploring the reporting tools and capabilities, while learning how to ensure compliance with LtP contract conditions.  This training has been designed specifically for SparkSafe registered electrical contractors, and is ideal for contract managers, site foremen, project managers and contract administrators.  Anyone who would like to get a better understanding of the SparkSafe system and its requirements would benefit from attending this online session.

Where:                                             Live Online – 1 Hour

When:                                               30th August 2023  – 11.00am-12.00pm

What will be covered

During the 1 hour online training session, you will:

  • Understand the role and responsibilities of the electrical contractor
  • Familiarise yourself with the online system, and understand how to manage contacts and project connections
  • Examine the criteria and evidence requirements for each of the 4 electrical worker licence types
  • Learn how to manage electrical workers connections, access active electrical workers, and know how to run licence expiry reports
  • Examine the Workforce Composition Report and understand the importance of the Workforce Ratio Guidance
  • Understand the SparkSafe Compliance Auditing process and the evidence requirements.
